"fantastic show of colour and atmosphere with a perfect long exposure showing the mist of the moving water and an interesting shipwreck poking through the waves. This shot has a great sense of setting as well as a wonderful view in the background of the setting sun. A truly breathtaking shot."

It makes it seem surreal, almost supernatural, which is made more so by the long exposure, which has made the water appear like a kind of mist, which appears deceptively calm, like after a storm (which is actually how the SS Dicky was washed up in 1893).
The skeleton like structure of the remains of the Dicky is almost morbid in this photo, like a reminder of the kind of destruction and beauty that storms hold. It is a huge difference to seeing it in real life, where it usually has half a dozen kids playing in while being yelled at by their parents.
This photo gives me chills, making me wonder what was going through the 11 crew members minds when it washed up on the beach.
The photographer has chosen a beautiful angle to take the photo from, showing the whole of the ships remains and still capturing a beautiful view of the sunrise as well.
I wish the photographer all the best with any photos they may take in the future, for they will surely all be as beautiful as this one
